The United Theological College (UTC) was honoured to host Group B Round Robin matches of the Association of Colleges for Theological Education in Zimbabwe (ACTEZ) Games on Thursday, 8 October 2026.
The event brought together teams from United Theological College (UTC), Africa Multination For Christ College (AMFCC), Heartfelt Institute of Ministry (HIM) and AFM Living Waters Theological Seminary (AFMLWTS) to compete for places in the ACTEZ 2026 finals. The finals will be held on 16 October at AFM Living Waters Theological Seminary.
The day was filled with joyful fellowship, unity and healthy competition. Students, staff, and supporters cheered on the teams, sharing in the excitement and encouragement as they faced off across several sporting disciplines. There were a few minor injuries, and rain briefly interrupted proceedings. Despite these challenges, spirits remained high, and the tournament continued through to its conclusion.
UTC enjoyed a standout day on the field and court, taking the top spot in all three disciplines. In soccer, UTC led the standings, followed by AMFCC and HIM, with AFMLWTS completing the lineup. Volleyball saw UTC and AFMLWTS finish first and second, respectively. In netball, UTC again claimed the crown, with AFMLWTS in the runner-up position and AMFCC taking third.
UTC extends sincere gratitude to all participating colleges, the ACTEZ organising team, the referees, and everyone who contributed to the day’s success. We look forward to the finals on 16 October at AFM Living Waters and wish all the qualifying teams the very best.
